       ROYAL HUA HIN

18 holes (Par 72) Designed by A. O. Robins, opened in 1924. It is the oldest golf course in Thailand. Mr. Robins, a Scottish railway engineer converted this perfect location into one of the most natural courses in South East Asia. Following the undulating terrain, each fairway weaves its way through a forest of mature trees, which creates a pleasant feeling of isolation from adjacent holes. No golf holiday would be complete without the chance to admire the artistry of the railway engineer from Scotland, when enjoyment will be fulfilled in the natural setting of the oldest and most celebrated championship golf course in the Kingdom.

       PALM HILLS

Set against a beautiful backdrop of Petchaburi's mountain range with some amazing views of the Gulf of Thailand. Separated by a rocky outcrop that extends from the mountain range, the course runs from east to west with lakes at each end and incorporates fast greens with some very tricky burrows.

       THE MAJESTIC CREEK

At the Majestic Creek Country Club, Thailand's foremost golf architect Dr Sukitti Klangvisai has produced a 7,123 yard layout that needs to be played with both imagination and skill. A maze of streams, which slowly trickle down from the surrounding mountains, wind around the six-year-old course. However, be careful you don't exhaust yourself, one of the holes is an astonishing 770 yards long.

       THE IMPERIAL LAKE VIEW

The Imperial Lake View Hotel & Golf Club features a 27 hole golf course in Petchaburi province. Designed by Roger Packard in 1993, the course is truly absorbing. Although rolling fairways and spectacular mounds surround the greens - many of which are hidden by the trees - make some shots rather tricky, golfers are helped out by well defined fairways to get back on the right track. Particularly absorbing is the par three 14th where the player tees off from one small island with the intent of landing their ball on another small island 207 yards away.

Accuracy is required at all times as the fairways are flanked by a series of hillocks and covered by a forest of small trees.

       SAWANG

Water comes into play on twelve holes and accurate shot making is called for. The seventeenth is one of six dog-leg holes and players have to contend with water on the left flank and on the green. The eighteenth is an excellent finishing hole, demanding an accurate tee shot to avoid the water on both sides of the fairway.

       HUA HIN SEOUL

Designed in 1992 by Robert McFarland, the course has a feel of a "links" due to its seaside location and is surrounded on three sides by forested hills. The natural lay of the land makes for a large angle of elevation on most of the holes, which adds to the interest and challenge of the course.
