Lam Luk Ka Country Club has 36 holes and it is located in the east of the city on Lamlukka Road, 27km from Don Muang Airport. The East Course is for long hitters with long distance holes and the West course requires accurate shots.

Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., the course was created especially for the 1975 World Cup and has since become a golfing mecca for first time visitors to the country. It offers a tranquil retreat, full of mature trees and beautiful shrubs. The greens are well protected by bunkers and there is a mix of wide and narrow fairways, with water coming into play on five holes. The par four sixth hole and the par five ninth hole across the lake are among the best in the country. The clubhouse facilities are excellent.

18 Holes (Par 72) Designed by Pete Dye This course features hundreds of palm trees along every fairway and water comes into play on almost every hole. This is definitely not a course for hookers and long hitting is not the name of the game either. Those who hit straight will be rewarded at Subhapruek. The par 3s are all very tricky and a player who makes par at all four of them will have a good round. The clubhouse is massive and has every facility.

Muang Kaew Golf Course is the closest 18 hole course to Bangkok City Centre. Currently, the course offers 18 holes of varying difficulty giving challenges to golfers of all abilities.

Friends of the forests will love this one. One of the Green Valley Group of courses, it is also one of Thailand's most beautiful courses. Located about 1 hour south of Bangkok, it is situated in a beautiful countryside setting, offering a clever alignment of fairways, greens and holes in lush surroundings.

Krungthep Kreetha was developed 29 years ago and is one of the best known courses in Bangkok. The course is located approximately 30 minutes North East of the City Centre. In 1996, the entire course was renovated including the club house. The course layout brings many water hazards into play, these coupled with mature trees.

Home of the 1997 Asian Honda Classic tournament, this magnificently redesigned members-only course is destined to become the setting for more of Asia's premier events. The seashore paspalum grass that was imported from Hawaii has been cultured locally making the course second to none. The clubhouse facilities are luxurious and managed by the world-famous Peninsula Group.

One of the most striking aspects of the course itself is its imaginative design. Natural and man-made features are creatively interwoven to give each hole its own individual charm and challenge. Off the regular tees, there is every prospect of par for the steady, thinking player.

Conveniently situated just outside of Bangkok, this course is aptly named, as it comprises "Lake'', "Wood'' and "Rock'' nines. The relatively flat terrain is enhanced by a profusion of hazards, flowers and shrubs. Water features on twenty-two of the twenty-seven holes and the course is well-known for its dog-legs.

Located within metropolitan Bangkok, this course is about 30 minutes from central Bangkok. The wide, undulating fairways and spacious greens make golfing here a pleasure for all standards of golfer. However, bring flippers and a snorkel as water comes into play on 17 of the 18 holes!

Incorporating a glamorous clubhouse with swimming pools, tennis courts and a fitness centre, the 18-hole Vintage Club is located in pleasant countryside about 30 minutes from central Bangkok. Although the course is rather flat, its greens, water hazards and fairways are well-placed and it is always in excellent condition.
